Stable runner MY HALO ROCKS came within a whisker of pulling off a massive upset in Race8 at Ararat on Friday at 100-1!Coming from the widest barrier in the 1300m BM58 young apprentice Harry Grace worked across to the lead and rated MY HALO ROCKS to near perfection. While he was kicking away on the turn Brad Rawiller,on the D.Weir trained favourite Black Mosheen, was strung up behind horses.Cruelly with 50m remaining and kicking on bravely MY HALO ROCKS found himself being caught in the shadows by the favourite who Rawiller had extricated from all sorts of issues behind horses.Despite being caught on the line it was a fantastic effort from stable favourite “HUGHIE”.A win is not far away for him.
