The future look’s bright for 888Racing’s promising VALUE ABBEY after the 3yo filly broke her maiden status at Yarra Valley today. At her 7th career start, over 1500m,top hoop Patty Moloney placed the filly at the leader’s girth after beginning well.Travelling sweetly for Patty coming to the turn rider and horse put the leader to the sword and then kicked for home. The well backed hot favourite Sam Slick came out of the pack,as expected,to issue a challenge but the filly held a handy margin to the line to get her first win out of the way.Dean believe’s the filly will only improve next preparation and being out of an Octagonal mare her breeding support’s that theory .Congratulation’s to Toolooganvale Farm, who also has WORLD OF HOPE and a recently purchased Your Song filly with the stable, and all other connections of Value Abbey. The stable look’s to have a fantastic prospect in VALUE ABBEY.
