Orrong Road came off an unlucky first up run to take his maiden second up at Pakenham today.

With the in-form Jack Hill aboard Orrong Road settled beyond midfield on jumping from the 1200m Synthetic start.Tucked away on the rail the Toorak Toff gelding relaxed and travelled well.Coming to the turn Hill found his way off the fence to ease his mount to the outside to set off after the leaders and despite losing his near side rein Orrong Road was punched out to get up on the line.

The continuing partnership between 888Racing and Ribblesdale on the Bellarine continues to prosper and with more promising horses coming through the stable there may be more gold to be mined from the connection.
